Overview

43.2 percent of Americans of voting age did not vote in the last election. With approximately half of US Citizens not engaging in the political process, how then, can we expect students to do the same? This challenge is designed to open students' eyes to the workings of state and local government and to show them that they can make a difference in society, even if they are not old enough to vote.
