In the spring of 2016, 7th grade students at the Windward School in Los Angeles explored the Big Idea of non-infectious diseases and were challenged to measurably and sustainably advance, engineer, or positively impact the lives of those affected with non-infectious diseases in your community.
Jasper, Drew and Luke explored asthma and after a thorough investigation identified an issue facing many students with asthma and developed a creative solution – The Ernie Cap. You can learn more about their project in this video and through their blog.
